III.  Believe Idea- I BELIEVE GOD IS INVOLVED IN AND CARES ABOUT MY DAILY               ________

IV.  Bible Says, The WATCHING-OVER GOD IS ________:
A.  But People Often Wonder About This.  Is He Good? 
B.  If God is both great and good, _____ is there so much suffering in the world?  
C.  Does the presence of pain mean God is NOT good?

V.  THE WATCHING-OVER GOD CARES
A.  Examples: ________Wept- Rescued Paul & Silas from the Philippian Jail, by an earthquake.

THE ONE TRUE GOD

I.  I BELIEVE THE GOD OF THE BIBLE IS THE ONE _____ GOD- FATHER, SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT:
A.  The Bible does not defend or explain God’s existence- it is ________
B.  Bible makes it very clear that ____ all gods are the same
** In fact, the Bible claims that there is only One True Living God. 
II.  THE GOD OF THE BIBLE IS A _________ (Father, Son, & Holy Spirit)

I BELIEVE, BUT…

I.  OPENING:  What is faith? 
A.  For many of us…we want to ______ but…

II.  NEXT WEEK WE BEGIN “BELIEVE”
A.  Many people deal with questions, _______, and uncertainties 
B.  Not designed to make you believe something you don’t want to believe 
III.  OFTEN PEOPLE TELL YOU:  there are ___ Options for believing
A.  Yes, or No!  Either you believe, or you don’t
B.  Yet _____ of us operate on more of a continuum of belief.
IV.  TWO KINDS OF DOUBTS
A.  Intellectual:

V.  FAITH AND DOUBT: they seem to go together.
A.  Jesus was exasperated by the doubting crowd and struggling disciples but the father’s doubts did not negate the miracle
B.  Sometimes being honest with Jesus about our doubts and our struggles can be liberating, and a create closer _____________.
VI.  FAITH IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF DOUBT, BUT ______, STEPPING OUT IN SPITE OF THE DOUBTS.
