II.  ILLUSTRATION OF MARRIAGE: A.  When spouse dies then the widow/widower is free ________ B.  We are free to be married to _________ III.  PROBLEM: THE PERSON MARRIED TO CHRIST IS SAME _________ WHO WAS MARRIED BEFORE? A.  _______  time around…should be better  B.  So there is this inner (and sometimes outer) ________ C.  The things I want to do, and the person I want to be…isn’t happening like I thought it would. IV.  ILLUSTRATION OF BEAUTY AND THE BEAST: A.  The analogy- We are the __________ B.  The BEAUTY- One so perfect…loving…kind … He acted graciously C.  This ___________ doesn’t usually happen quickly and painlessly. V.  THUS, THE GREAT DILEMA: “Struggling With Sin” A.  _______ BELIEVER in Jesus battles that monster within- the sinful nature. B.  So the big question: WRETCHED MAN THAT I AM- ______ WILL SAVE ME FROM THIS BODY OF DEATH? VI.  THE ANSWER: (V. 25) THANKS BE TO GOD! IT’S _______ OUR LORD! A.  Roms. 8.1- Therefore…no condemnation for those “in Christ Jesus.” B.  If you have received His __________ by faith, you are “in Christ Jesus.”  C.  We are his prince/princess…The transformation is happening.  VII.  So, THE QUESTION IS ARE YOU “IN CHRIST JESUS?” A.  ARE YOU A DISCIPLE? - Then don’t ______before the miracle happens B.  So daily- We must ______   ___ trusting in God’s Righteousness and His resurrection power to work in us and someday we will be the “prince/princess” He intends for us to be.
