"Our Daily Bread"
Matthew 6. 9-13

OUR DAILY BREAD Matthew 6. 9-13 1. Introduction-  Recap. Lord’s Prayer so far…                  A.  1st Part-  About God: parenthood, personhood, program, purpose                  B.  2nd Part- Our Needs: Provision, pardon, protection, preservation 2. GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD                                                    B=                : A.  Physical Needs B.  ______________ Needs C. Spiritual Bread - Man does not live by bread alone…                           R= ___________ ON GOD: A.  We have the “right” to ask for human needs…but we need to trust Him to provide  B.    ____________ is important.                                                      E= _________YOUR FOCUS: “Our” daily bread. A.  All need God’s provisions.  All need God to meet their earthly needs, and their spiritual needs too.    B.  How often we forget that there are persons, adults and children, who don’t have food, or shelter, or clothing.  Do we pray that they will have “daily bread” too?   A= __________________: A.  Jesus taught us here that our daily provisions come from God, and that He provides for our needs- does that not also strongly suggest that we honor God by our thankfulness? B.  I Cor. 10.31, says “Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it for the glory of God.” D= ___________: A. God desires that we come daily.    B.  A Daily _______with Him provides us with spiritual bread  C.  What ever your need, or your hunger is, Jesus invites us to pray  today “Give us this day our daily bread.” Conclusion:  As you eat today…whatever kind of bread it is… consider how blessed you are, and how much your life depends on The Father’s grace and goodness everyday.  And remember to Give Him Thanks!
