WHY PEOPLE DO GO TO CHURCH PSALM 122. 1 I.  TO _____________GOD A.  There is something special about worshipping together with others. B. Most who go to church have come to know Jesus Christ as _____ and _______ and want to be part of His glorious church.   II.  TO EXPERIENCE FORGIVENESS & ________________ A.  Many who come to church are bearing heavy loads B. One of church’s purposes is that those who need _______, forgiveness, and restoration can find it here.  III.  TO FIND FELLOWSHIP & SPEND TIME WITH PEOPLE WHO REALLY CARE A.  People ______ to be around others who will care about them, and who will encourage and pray for them. B. People of all ages are looking for “______________ relationships” IV.  TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE WITH THEIR ________ A.  Many are looking for ways to add meaning and purpose to their lives by _______ others, caring for hurting people, using their spiritual gifts and personal talents. B. Sometimes the church is “together” in worship, and sometimes it is “___________” in service. V.  THEY HAVE BEEN TAUGHT THE CHURCH’S VALUE BY THE ________ EXAMPLES OF ALL- Their Parents. A.  Of those who are staying ________ are impacted by parents, or other influential church persons, who are “living-out” their faith and who “talk about why” they “go to church.” B. People need to be “____________” - taught- how to walk with Jesus, and why they should.  VI.  SO WHY DO YOU GO TO CHURCH? A.  My goal for today is that you would share your love for your church and your Savior with others, B.  How To’s: * _________ someone to join you at church * Tell someone about your church and why you love it * Begin _________  for that one you know who doesn’t go to church   * Take time to build relationships with some who don’t go to church
