1 Kings 11. 1-13

A.  Began as a man of God, and greatly blessed

II.  Sometimes Affluence & Pride Affect Us

A.  We think we know _______ & are ______ enough not to get caught

B.  Our Pride, affluence, and lack of diligent faithfulness can lead us the wrong way and hurt us far more than we realize

III.  Each of us Have a Sphere of _______- We touch many lives

B.  Our calling is to be Church with a Heart for Jesus - To touch lives in _________, godly, loving ways.

IV.  The Importance of Remembering the _________

A.  As a Christian your calling and mine is to reach others

C.  Sermon Goal: A renewed commitment to ______  ____ to others with at Heart for Jesus.

D.  Keeping your covenant with God & Church takes renewed commitment and resolute determination. 

V.  As a Church ____ Also Have a Calling and Purpose: (Heart for Jesus)

A.  Sometimes we can lose our ______, and forget about “lost people” and our call to reach family and friends and neighbors.

B.  How quickly we can discover that those other things we have allowed into our lives…don’t help.
