THE PROBLEM WITH CARRY-ONS Matthew 8. 1-17 I.  THE JOURNEY OF A ______________REQUIRES THAT WE BEGIN A.  Once our journey has begun we begin to find some ruts, and snags.    B.  ________-ONS, BAGGAGE, OR ENCUMBRANCES… C.  We need to _______ our carry-ons to Jesus. III.  THE __________: HIS CARRY-ON WAS HIS DEAR FRIEND:  (vss. 5-13) A.  He was a servant- or slave.   B.  The gentile military officer- demonstrates remarkable faith- C.  Sometimes the loads of others can be a burden to us.  D.  Carry-ons can make our spiritual journey harder, and discouraging. I DON’T KNOW WHAT I BELIEVE- part 2 2 Corinthians 5. 7 I.  Some Things in Life are “Believed By Seeing,”  but Many Things Are “Seen By ______________.” -Life Itself Is a Journey Filled with Unknowns- Why Should Our __________ ____________ Be Any Less?                                                                                                             II.  Today,  Part 2 of: “I Don’t ________ What I Believe” A.  Last week we talked about the basics of Christian faith- ___________ Creed B.  Today we consider that many parts of our faith cannot be known until they are believed and __________  _______. III.  Scriptures: A.  John 20. 24-29, tells the story of “Doubting ____________” B.  2 Corinthians 4 & 5- Paul is telling about The Heavenly Dwelling that awaits those who believe in Jesus. C.  Romans 10. 8-13 (Faith is believing in our heart;  and confessing with our __________) IV.  The Experiential Part Of Our Faith Only Comes Once We Have Taken the _______of _________ A.  How Many Christians Today Have Never Seen Jesus- face to face?  (Most of them).
